Accessing our services
We have many services co-created through deeply listening to what the community expressed was needed to improve their way of life.
Our regualr services are:
4 days a week - free to low cost food pantry,
3 days a week - low cost, non-food essentials,
3 days a week Community Cafe,
Annual Community Christmas Luncheon,
Fortnightly have a chat cafe,
Mental Health Support Services and
other aligned and collaborated educational workshops.
Volunteering
When you share your time and effort with us, we are able to bring more services to the community. Together our hearts feel the joy in giving and sharing. Our culture is to exchange fairly, so we have an exchange policy that uplifts all who share with us through volunteering.
Wish to socialise more, be part of a harmomic team environment, give back to your community or even complete hours for Centrelink, by volunteering with us, together we can co-create each others goals.
In Centre Sharing
When you choose to spend your $ with us through our Op-Shop, Community Cafe, or low cost food pantry, you support us in keeping our doors open. Every $ after costs, is returned back into the community as accessable high quality services to prevent harm and hardships.
Containers For Change
When you choose to save your 10c drink containers to send to Containers for Change under our registered number or deliver them to us, you are choosing to support the environment and support HSWY to bring more services to the commmunity. Even though it may only be a small amount you can personally share, when there are a number of people offering that same small amount, it co-creates a large daontation for us.
Sponsorships
We are always deeply grateful to the larger organisations who choose to sponsor us. These sponsorships support us to bring free Community Christmas Luncheons to those in need, provide free community education, bring free food aid and socialisation to vulnerable people. Sharing the love through collaboration, continues to fill the heart.
Donations
Your donations of clothing, kitchen items, bedding, shoes, clothing accessories or food items and alike, all support our opportunity to fundraise. This creates the opportunity for us to meet our everyday costs. Anything over these costs that is raised, is returned back into the community to provide more accessible services or improve our services for the community.
